Luxurious powerhouse performer Lu Chase embodies an authentic old school glamour that she defines as “Retro Chic” or “Shirley Bassey goes to Ibiza". Through the use of new age mediums, Lu Chase brings an intelligent three dimensional sound that is current and moves us the way music used to back-in the- day.
Big in every way, she is distinctive, cutting edge and evokes the brilliance of classics like Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix, Etta James, Nina Simone and James Brown.
- She is effervescent, vivacious, foxy, fiery, exotic and mysterious Lu Chase comes from a strong theatre background with long experience as a vocalist, lyricist and frontline performer. She has established a niche, almost cult following on SA’s club scene.

Toured Russia as a solo performer in March 2009 and December 2008 notably playing Heart & Hospital club
Released the 1st international single from the Lu Chase & Christopher Wilde project “Still driving” through Inrichment Records. The music video for this song has been released internationally (USA + Europe)
Lu Chase appeared on Russian Television for the Tv show Nightlife .She’s been a guest on SABC 2’s teen magazine TV show Hectic 99, and was a guest of prime time show host Ayanda Ntini on Goodhope FM.
Miss Chase was the hostess for the Events program “What’s On Cape Town” aired every Thursday evening at 21:00
In addition Lu is also a Spin Earth correspondent and has interviewed top SA bands such as Taxi Violence, Jax Panix, Just Jinger and Flat Stanley to name a few
Furthermore Lu has pioneered a new innovative and provocative show called “Diamonds are a girls BF” which is a Burlesque show and is the 1st of it’s kind in SA.
