Lizé
Lizé Heerman is definitely not resting on her laurels following her exit from Idols South Africa 2009. In a few months, she has accomplished what local artists take years to achieve; with an impressive portfolio of television, radio, singing and modeling jobs under her belt.

Scouted by Mnet producers during her Idols stint, Lizé began presenting one of Super Sports most watched shows, shooting inserts for Super Sports Let’s Play immediately after her Idols departure. Numerous performances locally and in Europe followed as well as many endorsement deals. She recently co-presented with Darren Scott on Super Sports Sport Illustrated Ruff Stuff to rave reviews.

With singing as her true ambition; it’s her debut single “Do you love me?” that is bound to cause the biggest stir. With a soulful and contemporary pop undertone and the producing talent of local mega-star Loyiso and SAMA producer of the year Crighton Goodwell, the single will make you sit up and take notice of this young starlet! With her sultry voice and soul pop flavor, Lizé Heerman has launched onto the local music scene with her debut single, “Do you love me”.

Her unaffected personality and sultry charm carry through to the single, which has a distinct bluesy / jazz undertone delivered in a powerful catchy pop package.  “Do you love me” is a throwback to old school pop influence with a twist of contemporary style reminiscent of international superstars Duffy and Katie Melua.

The locally produced single was mastered by the London-based team behind Amy Winehouse and Adele, bringing an international flair to a homegrown talent.  This, together with the fact that all instruments were recorded live in studio, adds an authenticity and level of quality often missing from contemporary pop tracks.

The single is the first track of the much anticipated first album, to be released later this year.
