Professional Vocalist
“Lisa Theunissen is a hell of a performer with a phenomenal technique and stage presence”
Eric-Jan Harmsen, Teatro Pereyra, Ibiza, Spain
Her career started in musical theatre, making the stage Lisa’s home from a very young age. Not only a performer, but also an exceptional songwriter; voice-over artist; actor and session vocalist in the studio.
In 2008 the debut album, HerStory, was independently released on iTunes and Amazon through CDBaby.com. During the launch, Lisa performed at over 100 UK venues and was dressed by designer Vivienne Westwood for her shows. These included GuilFest 2008 and showcases at The Pigalle Club, The Bedford and headlining the Halfmoon Putney. HerStory received many press reviews and nominations, so very exciting for Lisa’s first piece of showmanship in songwriting.
Whilst writing her second album, Lisa is exploring music abroad as a resident singer. 2009 saw her at Teatro Pereyra in Ibiza, Spain for 5 months during their summer and is based in Penang, Malaysia until February 2010 at the GSpot. Her covers repertoire includes pop, soul, funk, jazz, blues and rock.
