STAGE:
I have limited experience in straight acting roles on stage, as my main interest lies in musical theatre.  My musical theatre experience began during primary school with several school/church productions of popular musicals.

MUSIC:
My musical experience covers rock and pop, jazz, heavy metal, gospel, studio, stage and ensemble playing and singing. I won On The Go Show talent contest in Port Elizabeth, 1993.  I haveenjoyed contracts as a bass player/vocalist on the cruise-ship, The Symphony,and in the Middle East.  I am currently the lead vocalist and/or bass player for several cover bands and corporate entertainment bands, and was a Top 50 finalist in MNET’s Idols in 2002. I have recorded a solo 6-track album, of which one track was featured on the compilation cd of Glamour Mag’s June 2007 edition. I also have experience in orchestra pits as a bass player for several professional productions, including The Full Monty (Creative Entertainment production, Artscape and Civic Theatres, 2008).

RADIO:
I have received training as a radio presenter and had a two-hour show on weekends at BMR (Beach Music Radio cc), East London.  I also presented a pop report on BRFM’s (Border Region) Top 30 chart show.  In 1995, I presented a daily one-hour show on TNT (Technikon Natal Transmission - campus radio) and was voted “Best DJ” on that station.  I was one of nine semi-finalists in 94.7 Highveld Stereo’s Hot Jock Search 2002.  Presented several 5-hour radio shows on Rand Show Radio during Rand Shows 2003-2008, NASREC Grounds, JHB.  I currently host the Saturday late evening Heart-to-Heart show on Tynefm.com, a UK-based internet radio station.

VOICE:
I have recorded numerous jingles and adverts for radio and tv, have narrated documentaries in English and Afrikaans, and am an audiobook reader for Librivox.org and Tape Aids for the Blind (English & Afrikaans).
