Sthembiso Khoza (Sthe) better known as Shaun, was born in the “play ground” of South Africa in the city of Durban. At the early age of just seven years Sthe started singing and has never stopped ever since.
In 1999 he auditioned for a musical play called “The pulse of Africa”, and successfully became the lead vocalist for all the songs. In this musical, Sthe was featured in sound tracks such as the hit single “a whole new world” from the animation film Aladdin, Beauty And The Beast and the late Michael Jackson's We are the World to mention a few.

In 2002 he auditioned for an Idols contest hosted by Park Hill High, the school he attended. Walking away with the second prize, Sthe was quoted modestly saying "you can’t win them all". The young star then attended the very same competition two years following and took home the 2003/4 title.

After graduating from high school Sthe decided to relocate to the Big City of Johannesburg on his own.
Leaving all the support of his family and friends behind, he started his degree in sport management.
So much like the story of Charlize Theron's discovery, Sthes was random and every unexpected. After all his efforts of being discovered, he least expected that his big break would present itself on his
commute to school.

Earl, the second member of this duo started singing in church while he was part of the Sunday, always finding himself in a position to do the solo lead parts in the songs.

He has always been inspired and influenced by Usher, Slim (112) and Babyface. In 2004 he entered the renowned Coca Cola Pop Stars competition, but did not make it. He than decided to form a group with 2 other guys (Leeroy and Deevan), and they were called Men2B.

In 2005 they were introduced to Sthe by their manager who heard him sing in the bus and he was then added to Men2B. After a lot of practice sessions, the 4 member Men2B started performing songs of their international icons on stages all around Johannesburg. During this time they had the opportunity to open
for Dr. Victor at Blues Room in Sandton on several occasions.

During the growth of the group, there was an ever greater developing synergy between Sthe and Earl, who decided to dedicated all their time and energy into establishing the charming duo Pre-Eminence.

The corporate scene is no foreign place for these gentle as they add a very special flair to any event and does not disappoint in delivering quality entertainment – every time.
