Tumisho came into South African homes as the classy yet calculating Dumisani Thusong on SABC 3 soap Isidingo. He experienced some frustration at being called Dumisani and not Tumisho, even by fans who knew his name, and decided it was time to stand on his own in the South African limelight. Tumisho's acting talents won him international roles in projects like Beyond Borders with sexpot Angelina Jolie, Red Water with Lou Diamond Phillips and most recently Drum with Taye Diggs.

With his migration to Top Billing, Tumisho not only strengthens his brand but shows that he has strong cross over appeal.
