Philisiwe Sefatsa is a journalist. She has worked as a news reader for Ukhozi FM (the biggest station in the country) from 2003 till 2008. She left the station in 2009 to join the TV news department as a producer for its isiZulu news. In May 2010 she became the Prime Time news anchor for SABC 1 IsiZulu tv news, a job she is still doing.
She has also worked as a field reporter. In 2006 she received a nomination at the SABC News Awards for her field reporting story.
She holds a Diploma in Journalism and she is currently attending Dale Carnegie Classes on Public Speaking. She has a Certificate in Public Relations.
Philisiwe is happily married with two children. She is a big South African soccer fan, loves movies and travelling. |
