Stage and screen actress,Leeanda Reddy has a varied stage and screen career.She studied at UKZN for a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Drama.On the small screen she currently stars on ‘Isidingo’ as Detective Priyanka Naicker.Last year she played the female lead opposite Leon Schuster in the blockbuster  ‘Mr Bones 2’ .Other screen credits include a lead on etv's Scandal,Sabc 2’s Zero Tolerance, etv’s Backstage ,Sabc 2’s ‘The Res’ and the presenter of trendy magazine programmes:’Big City and Citylife’.
 
Leeanda began her stage career in Durban performing leading roles in theatre productions at the Playhouse and went on to perform in major arenas in the country including the Market and Civic theatres.In 2000 she was invited with acclaimed playwright and director Ronnie Govender,by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations to tour India with the one woman play’At the the Edge’.The tour was highly successful with Leeanda receiving wide acclaim for her performances, including at the International theatre festival in New Delhi.Other theatrical highlights include playing ‘Viola/Cesario’ in Ralph Lawsons award winning ‘Twelfth Night’, ‘Lady Macbeth’ in Stephen Gurneys Macbeth, a leading role in Toni award winning director, Michael McAloney’s “Shaken not Stirred Sir”.
 Her most recent theatre productions are Buckled and Queens of Comedy,both produced by Mustard Seed Productions,a production company she co -owns with friend and colleague Krijay Govender.The pair also co wrote these and other theatre projects. 
 
She is the recipient of a Mababongwe award for performance excellence and was twice nominated for the  FNB vita award for best Lead Actress in ‘Twelfth Night’ and ‘Beyond Calvary’.
