TALENTED R&B singer and actress, Kb Motsilanyane is back in the music scene with a super album “My Rhythm” featuring hits like Mowa, Moni Fere featuring D Benga and many more, After making a name for herself with her albums, BEAUTIFUL VIBRATIONS and ROCK LEFATSHE. Following the fantastic reception of her debut, which spawned some hits, including 'O A Lla', 'Beautiful Vibrations' and 'Life is Good', and went on to win her the prestigious SAMA for Best R&B, and two Metro FM awards for Best R&B and Best Newcomer, the sassy musician rocked the world in 'Rock Lefatshe' which as well won her another two Metro FM awards for Best R&B and Best Female vocalist 2003. The album also earned the young diva nominations for Best R&B and Best video at the SAMA 2004 and a Kora Award nomination for Best Female in Southern Africa.

Musically she has grown and experimented with various styles as can be heard in the way in which fusses a bit of afro pop, R&B, Latino and house
.
"My music is universal and is guaranteed to appeal to everyone, black, white or pink." She says.
Kb guarantees musical satisfaction to her fans and is determined to melt the hearts of old fashioned sceptics. Though, she still maintains her successful formula of singing in a native Setswana and English, fans will be treated to Shona, French, Xhosa and Sesotho in the new songs. Her explanation is that she wants to offer longer lasting music to be collected and allow music lovers from all corners of the earth to be presented with a complete and amazing experience that expresses the True Africa with its diverse cultures and traditions but ONE spirit. That she achieves with ease, thanks to her deep-rooted
musical background.

Both her parents write choral music while her mother manages a choir in which her sister is a lead vocalist. Like her, all her five siblings are vocally talented, but for now she's the only star of the family. She started music in her youth as a member of Mmabatho hometown group, Crowded Crew. But she believes she was meant to be a soloist. After the band disbanded she continued with her studies and earned herself a NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN MUSICAL THEATRE, which has come in handy in her career as an entertainer.

In her career, KB has displays versatility. Though known as a singer this young star can dance you to the ground in Latin American, African, Jazz, Funk and Tap dancing. She has also graced our small and big screen by starring on E-TV's

Backstage and the movie blockbuster ALI, alongside Will Smith. In the near future she wants to put in more energy to empowering young South Africans to become leaders of our beautiful and undermined continent
