An all girl trio hailing from Pinetown (Durban) consists of the multi-talented sisters Marlize (23), Chazelle (20) and Michelle (18). Already performing from a tender young age, these three sisters have always dreamed of becoming pop artists and have certainly come a long way on their own with their unique talent and performance.  Now they are set to take the Afrikaans music industry by storm, following the release of their new debut Afrikaans album titled,  “Net een van daai dae”.

Still travelling regularly from Durban to promote their album and do performances, these sisters have recently decided to make a more permanent move to Gauteng to further their music career. They have also recently signed a Management & Promotion deal with Lefra Productions and a record / distribution deal with NEXT Music.

Their new debut Afrikaans album titled, “Net een van daai dae”, has done particularly well on the local radio station’s and have produced several chart toppers like “Alleen in Johannesburg and Hemel op Aarde. The Shimmer girls are particularly proud to have penned almost all of the songs on this album

The album has an interesting mix of mostly Pop, Country and Rock Afrikaans songs, but also a few English songs reflecting in particular, their shared life’s experiences that most audiences can relate to. Their music is bubbly and the lyrics flow for very easy listening, which will allow their music to target a much broader audience in the English and the affluent Afrikaans music Industry.
