Passionate.  Versatile.  Dedicated.  Commitment.  Quality.  Professional.  These are just a few words that best describe this incredible band from Bloemfontein.

Its five members have been together since 2005.  During their 3 years together, they have released 2 albums and performed and entertained at festivals, events, shows and venues around the country.  They have shared stages with artists such as Jak de Priester, Klopjag, Prime Circle, Karen Zoid, Parlotones, Springbok Nudegirls, and Fokofpolisiekar.

Awards they have won during their 3 years include:
1st Place:              Free State round of the Volksblad Jip’s Rockspaaider competition (2005)
3rd Place:              National Rockspaaider competition (2005)
1st place:               FNB Supebowl National Battle of the Bands (2006)
1st place:               FNB Superbowl National Battle of the Bands (2007)

At the end of 2007 their vocalist represented South Africa singing the national anthem at the Two Nations Marathon.  Having won the FNB Superbowl National Battle of the Bands two years in a row (2006 & 2007) they held the title as the best varsity band in the Country for 2 years running.  

After the success of the bands first album, they hit the airwaves with their follow up single "DONKERSTE UUR" in early 2008.  The music video to this single went on to be debuted on MK89 where it is currently screened.  Their 2nd album CAB was released in May 2008 - an exciting 12 track album with a mix of both English and Afrikaans.  Track 6 “Reach” was re-recorded in January 2009, and the band released another single “Waarheen Ons Gaan” in February 2009.  Both are currently play-listed on OFM.  Collin Street have been interviewed  by and are currently play listed on  OFM, Kovsie FM, PukFM and Radio Rosestad.

Collin Street are signed exclusively with Redstar Talent, a celebrity and performing artist booking agency and management company located in Bloemfontein, the heart of central South Africa, where the band are based.  Redstar Talent recently obtained a nationwide distribution deal for Collin Street.  This means that very soon their album will be available for purchase in music stores country wide.
