Ensemble is about sharing, cooperation and commitment. Four of South Africa’s extremely talented opera singers Kelebogile Boikanyo, Gugu Mahlalela, Monwabisi Lindi and Joey Masemola, came together in the year 2007 each bringing his and her unique talent and ability to capture the true essence of an ensemble in this sublime classical union called Una Voce (Italian for One Voice). The four have been assembled by manager Lucius Kgatle founder of Tsoseletso Arts from their time at Tsoseletso Arts with aim of establishing a classical brand that will reach beyond each individual’s opera background and possibilities through creating, recording and performing classical crossover music that will have an enriching effect in people’s lives and also contribute towards the growth and development of classical music.
