Who’s News – Woer Woer

The popular duo Who’s News has been entertaining music fans for the past twenty three years, and now the guys are back with a brand-new party album Woer Woer.
Craig James (percussion and lead vocals) and Dion Olwagen (guitar and vocals) are hot party news.
They also add a brand-new original ballad to their chart-topping list: Times Like This.

Here’s the story behind the headlines…

It is News Time.
And it is good news: the hit-making duo Who’s News are back with a bang.

Since 1984, the guys are leading the party music scene with their special blend of catching tunes and humorous lyrics. They’re used to topping local hit parades. Their latest offering Woer-Woer is once again filled with smash hits: a balanced mix of popular English and Afrikaans songs – from up-tempo tunes to heartfelt ballads.

With modern cover versions of Working On A Good Thing, Does Your Mother Know?, Jeans On, Hurt So Good, and Dancing The Night Away, as well astheir signature interpretation of the mega hit Spirit In The Sky. Amongst the album highlights are a moving rendition of Peace (Where The Heart is), and a driving take on Purple Rain .

The album is proudly South African with a number of brand-new original songs in Afrikaans and English: including the beautifully crafted ballad Times Like This, written by Tony Heyman.

And that’s The News: the good news, the party news, The Who’s News news.
