Guitarists, singers and composers, brothers Marcus and Josh Thatcher both started playing guitar before the age of 10. They both decided at a young age to follow a career in music and have worked together on and off throughout their careers, coming together again now to form the duo

Marcus studied formally for three years with acclaimed classical guitarist Fritz Buss. At 18 he started teaching privately, and played in a number of different outfits around the country. He then moved to London where he worked for Warner Brothers (Rose Morris).
After moving back to SA he established his own Audio & Video Recording studio, and has since worked with and recorded various Artists & projects, including:

Naz Timm-Holland (of Pop Stars Fame)
& most recently composed & recorded the theme Song for The DRC National Lotto
Josh studied music formally at the National School of the Arts, where he graduated with distinction.
In 2004 he began studying percussion and drums and did a full time course under a P.I.T. (percussion institute if technology) graduate, where he developed his skills as a composer and all round musician.
He has played various instruments in a number of local bands over the years, performing and headlining at festivals such as Oppikoppi, Splashy Fen, Rustlers Valley and Woodstock.
Josh has done extensive session work in private studios for solo artists throughout the country and has gained a reputation for his creative and articulate style.
Most recently, Josh toured Europe with the African show “Under African Skies” A.K.A “Diamonds & Dust” performing in 73 theaters throughout Holland, Belgium and Denmark.
