Simply 4, the brain child of original members Godfrey Ried and Nash Klaassen, is today one of the top rated corporate and party bands in South Africa.
The band originated in Kimberley and started performing in high school. In 2001, Godfrey and Nash together with Ricardo Balance moved to Kimberley to explore their opportunities. 10 Years later, they have a respected reputation with some of South Africa’s top companies, being repeatedly booked for their annual events. They are also the resident band at the renowned Vilamoura Supper Club in Sandton.
The newest addition to the band is Delia Davids. Having recently replaced the previous female vocalist who went on to explore a solo career, Delia is new to the music industry and the epitome of ‘Dynamite comes in small packages’; beautiful with a raw and sexy voice.

Be it the Hottest Happening Party of the Year, background dinner entertainment or a mixture of both, the members are versatile, and will adapt their performance to suit their audience and the requirements of your event. Down to earth, passionate and reliable entertainers, the band caters for all with their extensive repertoire including golden oldies and current hits. A full repertoire list is available on request.
As a standard Simply 4 performs 3 x 45 minute sets. Spread over the evening, you have a full nights’ entertainment. The first set usually opens with ballads and picks up pace, ending on a mid tempo note. The second set can be a mid tempo progressing to dancing or alternatively a full dance set. The third set is typically a dance set. Should your event require more background entertainment the sets will be changed accordingly to suit the event.
