In 1989, every South African would be caught singing along to the biggest hit of that year – “Quick Quick” by Marcalex. Marc and Alex Rantseli were born and raised in Diepkloof, Soweto. Their love for music and strong ambition from a young age propelled the brothers into super stardom in the late 80’s, and early nineties.
Almost two decades on, the Rantseli brothers are BACK! With a new album, and a new stage performance.
2007 Started with a bang, as it saw marc perform for Oprah Winfrey and her Hollywood Guests at the New Year’s Eve Bash held at Sun City. “Sharing the stage with Mary J Blige, Tina Turner, Babyface, Patti La Belle, Ashford & Simpson and India Arie has definitely been a highlight.”, says Marc.
The current album is on shelves, the guys are hitting the stage running, and the South African public are elated to have the pair back on the airwaves and on the performing circuit!!
