Beeskraal is a well known Afrikaans Rock band from Pretoria. The band was formed eight years ago and continues to make a big contribution to the South African music scene.

2002 :
First SA band to be invited to the Ukkasie festival in London 2002.
First Afrikaans band to play at the Union buildings on Freedom day as requested by the South African government.
Music of the group was used by two S.A. psychologists in helping with the rehabilitation of U.S.A. trauma patients, after the 9/11 attacks
2003 :
Together with Mandoza, the only S.A. artists to perform at the African World Food Hunger concert at FNB stadium Johannesburg.
Nominated for a SAMA (South African Music Award) in Best Rock Band category.
Won the ‘Kanna’ award for best Afrikaans Rock Group.
Won the SABC2 ‘Geraas Music Award’ for best Group
2004 :
